Property Details

Casa Hidalgo is nestled in the heart of downtown Puerto Vallarta. The house is recently renovated and encompasses the colonial-era architecture of the area. The location boasts restaurants and shops around every corner and the malecon, a pedestrian walkway, winds along the oceanfront and beach is only 2 blocks away. If you have had enough exploring for the day, we have created an oasis on the top terrace, which includes a bar, lounge chairs, and jacuzzi tub with the best views of the city!

Casa Hidalgo was recently renovated and embraces the traditional architecture and local charm of the area. Located in the middle of everything and at the same time nestled in the treetop mountainside, this house has it all.

Walk up two flights of stairs to your private entry and patio, open up the doors to a bright and airy master bedroom with a large window across from the bed that has views of the ocean. The bedroom includes a large closet as well as a private bathroom with a shower. The magic takes place one more flight of stairs up to your private terrace where there is a bar, two lounge chairs, and a jacuzzi tub! The terrace has the best views of the city and ocean, the most beautiful sunsets, and fireworks every night!

Guests share a common entry staircase, but the rest of the house and the top terrace is completely private. There are 2 other units that will share the same entry staircase so you may bump into those guests now and again.

I will be available for any questions and Omar, our rental property manager, will be close by if you need any immediate help.

Casitas Banderas is located in the heart of downtown Puerto Vallarta or El Centro, just two blocks away from the Cathedral and 2 blocks away from the malecon. The malecon is a pedestrian thoroughfare that winds along the oceanfront sided by plenty of restaurants and bars. The beach is easily a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute cab ride away. We are in the middle of plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries! Our place is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, but it feels secluded from it all at the same time especially as you relax on the top terrace and are able to breathe in the most beautiful views of the city and ocean from above.

TAXIS:
I hardly ever ask the price for a taxi ride since it is always $50 (pesos) in the Centro area, around $4 – $5 (usd) depending on the exchange, unless we are going on an excursion farther away.

BUSES:
Buses are very inexpensive public transportation and they are safe to use if you figure out their routes. We usually take taxis because of convenience, but this is a very cheap alternative!
