Twin Forks Farmhouse is the perfect place to get-away and breathe in the fresh country air. We are located an hour and 45 minutes from New Orleans and an hour and a half from Baton Rouge and Jackson, MS.

Many guests can spend the whole week or weekend at the farm exploring the trails, playing outdoor or indoor games or doing small excursions like going to get cheesecake or milk at Mauthe’s Dairy Farm (10 minutes away and one of the only remaining dairy farms in Mississippi). Other favorite things to do in the area include going shopping in Summit (25 minutes away), hiking at Percy E Quin State Park (20 minutes away), or tubing/kayaking down the Bogue Chitto River (there is an outfitters just 15 minutes away).

The home can accommodate 4 guests including children and pets. The home offers a lovely and expansive front porch that looks out over a beautiful meadow you will certainly spot some wildlife passing through. As you walk through the front door, the living area includes lots of seating and a smart television. My favorite part of the house is the fully equipped kitchen that overflows into the dining room. The library includes a workspace with a desk. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, closet space, and an en suite full bathroom. The second bedroom includes a queen size bed and there is another full bathroom.

YES! Well behaved dogs are welcome. DOGS MUST BE ADDED TO RESERVATION PRIOR TO STAY. We require a $100 pet fee that will be added once you update your reservation by including that you are bringing a pet. See our dog policy below.

Dog Policy: Two dogs max allowed. Please update your reservation to include the number of pets. We do not allow dogs under one year old. We require that any dogs you bring are up to date on tick and flea medication. We do not allow dogs that are not potty trained. Please pick up after your dog outside. Do not leave your dogs inside unattended unless you have a crate to put them in. Dogs are NOT allowed on any furniture or beds.
